Our beef cattle are 100% grass fed and finished (from the point we buy them as yearlings) and are 24-28 months old at processing so they are richly marbled. We raise our cattle using a rotational grazing technique, which means that the cows are moved to graze on patches of fresh, pesticide-free grass every few days. This ensures that the cows are eating a nutrient-dense diet of seasonal forage and grasses, while naturally fertilizing the soil on our farm. They are also supplemented with kelp and a special trace mineral salt which keeps them healthy and also makes the beef rich in trace minerals.
They are available as whole, halves, or quarters. We charge $4.00 per pound hanging weight plus cut, wrap, ($0.70 per pound) and kill fees ($70 per whole beef). A deposit of $200 for a whole, $150 for a half, or $100 for a quarter is required.
